If you didn’t receive our latest newsletter, you can find it online here. It includes:
A reflection by author Louis Greenstein on what he learns from daily beach-walking
News about one of our books making ElectricLit's list of “15 Small Press Books You Should Be Reading This Summer” (guess which book it was!)
More about Miriam Seidel’s new book Tesla’s Opera, a lavishly illustrated volume about the great inventor (not the car company) and the opera she wrote to celebrate his life, imagination, and spirituality
One news item that came in too late for the newsletter:
Our favorite walking artist, Ann de Forest, editor of Ways of Walking and curator of the WalkAbout series, is hosting another online discussion about the joys and discoveries of travel on foot. This time, with poet Damaris West, she’s calling the event “It’s a Dog’s Life,” and the focus is on what we learn from walking with a canine companion. The audience is invited to bring a poem, a dog, or both! It’s at 2 p.m. U.S. Eastern time on Monday, August 4. Click here to get the free registration link.
