Our author David Sanders has been transforming many of his fiction pieces into screenplays. His novel Busara Road, which we published in 2019, was a finalist and semifinalist in major screenplay competitions.
Now his script "The New Moon in the Old Moon's Arms," based on a marvelous short story of the same name, has run up a string of similar honors. Currently it's a finalist in the Santa Barbara International Screenplay Awards. The Santa Barbara folks have just published an interview in which he discusses his inspiration and techniques.
